Disclosed is a safety ignition initiation circuit for an electronic detonator, the circuit comprising a power supply, a power master switch K1, a resistor R2, a triode BG1, and a triode BG2. The triode BG1, the triode BG2 and a capacitor C1 constitute an oscillating circuit (1) together with a wound coil L1, a wound coil L2, a wound coil L3, a wound coil L4 and a wound coil L5, and a pulse end of the oscillating circuit (1) rectified by a diode circuit (2) is connected to a capacitor C2. Either end of the capacitor C2 is connected with an atmosphere lamp and a synchronizing relay K2 in parallel. The atmosphere lamp and the synchronizing relay K2 are connected in series, and a slide rheostat R1 is connected in series between the atmosphere lamp and the synchronizing relay K2. The capacitor C2 powers the electronic detonator (4), and a synchronizing relay K2' is connected with the electronic detonator (4) in series. The circuit has the advantages of being a simple circuit with a simple design, reliable initiation and low cost.
