Abstract

A system for network-scale parallel computing comprises a set of computer- readable instructions implementing the steps of executing a computational process from at least one client node by communicating via a content addressable service network implemented using the Tuple Space abstraction, data parallel semantics and Unidirectional Virtual Ring architecture, with any number of service computers, networks and storage to deliver lossless, non-stop services. A network-scale distributed storage system, an enhanced DNS system, a network-scale database system and a network-scale hybrid transactional analytical processing systems are also described.

L’invention concerne un système de traitement parallèle à l'échelle du réseau comprenant un ensemble d'instructions lisibles par ordinateur. Le système exécute les étapes consistant à : exécuter un processus de calcul à partir d'au moins un nœud client en communiquant via un réseau de service adressable par le contenu implémenté à l'aide de l'abstraction d'espace Tuple, une sémantique parallèle de données et une architecture en anneau virtuel unidirectionnel, avec un nombre quelconque d'ordinateurs de service, de réseaux et d’unités de stockage pour fournir des services sans perte et sans arrêt. L'invention concerne également un système de stockage distribué à l'échelle du réseau, un système DNS amélioré, un système de base de données à l'échelle du réseau, et un système de traitement analytique transactionnel hybride à l'échelle du réseau.
