Title: HIGH FREQUENCY CONNECTOR
Abstract:
The present invention proposes a high frequency connector capable of checking the correct position of a socket terminal. A housing (110) of the present invention has an accommodation space, formed therein, for allowing a counterpart connector to be inserted therein, and has fixing protrusions (116) formed on both outer side surfaces thereof. In addition, a slider (130) can be coupled by means of an open upper surface so as to encompass the housing, and has a main fixing groove (132a) and a temporary fixing groove (132b) which are elastically coupled to the fixing protrusions such that movement in an axial direction is limited and which are formed adjacently in an axial direction on inner surfaces of both side surfaces thereof. A socket terminal (120) is inserted into the accommodation space of the housing (110) so as to be supported at a predetermined position, and has a front end part through which the counterpart connector is inserted so as to make electrical contact therewith. In the present invention, when the socket terminal is completely inserted into the housing, an extension ring (129) of the socket terminal extends the slider toward both sides by means of an inward protrusion (133) such that the temporary fixing groove can be spaced apart from the fixing protrusion. In the state in which the slider has been extended, the slider moves in an axial direction such that the main fixing groove (132a) is coupled to the fixing protrusion (116) while the slider contracts.
