Title: NUCLEIC ACID DETECTION METHOD
Abstract:
A nucleic acid detection method comprising: step a) for mixing a solution containing a carboxylic acid and/or a salt thereof, a cerium oxide carrier and a nucleic acid-containing sample so as to allow the cerium oxide carrier to adsorb the nucleic acid; step b) for separating the cerium oxide carrier, which carries the nucleic acid adsorbed thereon, from the mixture obtained in step a); step c) for adding an eluent to the the cerium oxide carrier, which carries the nucleic acid adsorbed thereon, separated in step b) and thus collecting the nucleic acid; and step d) for detecting the nucleic acid collected in step c) by a hybridization reaction or a nucleic acid amplification reaction.
