Abstract:
Provided is an ultrasonic observation device to which is connected an input device having a touch pad that senses a contact object that is made to contact the touch pad by an operator, and which causes a display device to display an ultrasonic image generated on the basis of an ultrasonic signal received from an ultrasonic vibrator that transmits ultrasonic waves to an observation target and receives ultrasonic waves reflected by the observation target. The ultrasonic observation device is provided with a display control unit that superimposes, on the ultrasonic image displayed on the display device according to a contact position of the contact object on the touch pad, a rotation indicator that notifies the rotation direction when an operation for rotating the ultrasonic image around a predetermined rotation reference is performed. Due to this configuration, in the ultrasonic observation device to which the input device having the touch pad is connected, an intended operation can be performed without looking at the touch pad.
