Abstract:
The purpose of this invention is to obtain a rotating electric machine stator in which a positioning member can be attached to a frame while ensuring, regardless of the presence or absence of frame deformation, a highly accurate positional relationship of the positioning member with respect to a stator core fitted into and held in the frame and to obtain a method for manufacturing the rotating electric machine stator. The rotating electric machine stator of this invention is provided with: a frame having a cylindrical portion and a flange portion projecting from one end of the cylindrical portion in the axial direction to the outside in the radial direction and provided integrally with the cylindrical portion; a stator core formed in an annular shape and fitted into and held in the inside of the cylindrical portion; a coil mounted on the stator core; and a plurality of positioning members attached to the flange portion so as to be movable in the radial direction and in the circumferential direction about the axial center of the stator core.
