Abstract:
The invention relates to a rotation angle measuring device (10) for measuring a rotation of a test element (12) over a measuring range which comprises more than one full revolution of the test element (12), comprising a magnet element (14) which generates a magnetic field, comprising a magnetic field sensor (20) which is arranged in the vicinity of the magnet element (14) in such a way that the magnetic field sensor (20) can measure the magnetic field which is generated by the magnet element (14), and comprising a coupling device (22) which couples the rotation of the test element (12) to a movement of the magnet element (14). In order to reduce the costs of the rotation angle measuring device, it is proposed that the magnetic field sensor (20) is a 2D magnetic field sensor, which can measure a two-dimensional magnetic field vector, or a 3D magnetic field sensor, which can measure a three-dimensional magnetic field vector, and that the coupling device (22) is formed in such a way that the magnet element (14), in the event of a rotation of the test element (12) about a test element axis (16), carries out rotation about a magnet element rotation axis (18) and a translation in the direction of the magnet element rotation axis (18) relative to the magnetic field sensor (20).
