Title: RING-SHAPED CERAMIC IMPLANT
Abstract:
The invention describes an implant for sliding pairs in endoprosthetics, wherein the implant has an outer side, with an outer face, and an inner side, and a hemispherical sliding region for accommodating a spherical sliding partner is formed on the inner side. To ensure that the installation depth (width) for the implant is as small as possible and that milling is needed to a lesser depth, e.g. in the pelvic bone, it is proposed according to the invention that the implant is configured as a ring or with a ring shape, and the outer face permits direct implantation in the body.
