Abstract:
The invention comprises a method for detecting flow characteristics of a wind turbine rotor blade during the operation of the wind turbine rotor blade, having the steps: applying at least one reflector unit (300) to a surface of the wind turbine rotor blade (108), wherein the at least one reflector unit (300) has, on one side, a reflective element (320) and at least partially freely movable thread (310), illuminating or lighting the at least one reflector unit (300) by means of at least one light source (210), detecting the light reflected by the at least one reflector unit (300), determining the movement of the at least one movable thread (310) on the basis of the reflected light, and determining flow characteristics, in particular wind shear, wind veer and turbulence intensity of the wind turbine rotor blade on the basis of the detected movements of the at least one thread (310).
