Title: γ-AMINOBUTYRIC ACID SEMIHYDRATE CRYSTAL AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a γ-aminobutyric acid semihydrate crystal. The formula of the crystal is C4H9NO2·0.5H2O. The present invention further discloses a preparation method for the γ-aminobutyric acid semihydrate crystal, wherein first a crude γ-aminobutyric acid is added to water to obtain a γ-aminobutyric acid suspension with an initial concentration of 1.2-2.0 g/mL; then the suspension is stirred under a constant temperature of 5-10°C for 6 to 12 hours, then the suspension is filtered and dried to obtain the γ-aminobutyric acid semihydrate crystal. The γ-aminobutyric acid semihydrate crystal of the present invention has good stability, does not readily absorb moisture or coalesce, and is convenient for further processing and use. The crystal has a large main particle size and a uniform particle size distribution, has a high bulk density and a good flowability, and has a purity of ≥ 99%. The preparation method for the γ-aminobutyric acid semihydrate crystal of the present invention is simple and feasible, and has short time consumption and high efficiency and low energy consumption, making it favorable for large-scale industrial production.
