Abstract:
(EN) A method for generating a three-dimensional model of an object, by a scanning system including a client-side device including: an acquisition system configured to capture images; and an interaction system including a display device and a network interface includes: capturing a plurality of images of the object by the acquisition system, the images being captured from a plurality of different poses of the acquisition system; computing depth maps from the images of the objects, each of the depth maps corresponding to one of the poses of the acquisition system; combining the depth maps to generate a combined point cloud; and displaying, on the display device, the combined point cloud or a 3D mesh model generated from the combined point cloud.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de générer un modèle tridimensionnel d'un objet, au moyen d'un système de balayage comprenant un dispositif côté client comprenant : un système d'acquisition configuré de sorte à capturer des images; et un système d'interaction comprenant un dispositif d'affichage et une interface de réseau, ledit procédé consistant : à capturer une pluralité d'images de l'objet au moyen du système d'acquisition, les images étant capturées à partir d'une pluralité de poses différentes du système d'acquisition; à calculer des cartes de profondeur à partir des images des objets, chaque carte de profondeur correspondant à l'une des poses du système d'acquisition; à combiner les cartes de profondeur pour générer un nuage de points combiné; et à afficher, sur le dispositif d'affichage, le nuage de points combiné ou un modèle de maillage 3D généré à partir du nuage de points combiné.
