A laundry care composition comprising: (a) at least one laundry care ingredient and (b) at least one leuco polymer includes a leuco monomer and an alkene. The leuco polymer has a molecular weight of at least 500 and is obtainable by polymerization of the leuco monomer and one or more alkene co-monomers. The leuco monomer consists of an alkene covalently bound to a leuco moiety and the leuco monomer has a molar extinction coefficient at a wavelength in the range 400 to 750nm of less than 1000 M-1cm-1. The alkene monomer(s) have a molar extinction coefficient at a wavelength in the range 400 to 750nm that is less than 100 M-1cm-1. Methods of making the leuco polymerand methods of treating textiles with such laundry care compositions.

La présente invention concerne une composition d’entretien du linge comprenant : (a) au moins un ingrédient d’entretien du linge et (b) au moins une leuco polymère comprenant un leuco monomère et un alcène. Le leuco polymère présente un poids moléculaire d’au moins 500 et pouvant être obtenu par la polymérisation du leuco monomère et d’un ou plusieurs co-monomères d’alcène. Le leuco monomère est constitué d’un alcène lié de manière covalente à une fraction leuco et le leuco monomère présente un coefficient d’extinction molaire sous une longueur d’onde située dans la plage de 400 à 750 nm inférieur à 1 000 M-1cm-1. Le ou les monomères alcène présentent un coefficient d’extinction molaire sous une longueur d’onde située dans la plage de 400 à 750 nm qui est inférieur à 100 M-1cm-1. L’invention concerne également des procédés de fabrication de leuco polymère et des procédés de traitement de textiles avec de telles compositions d’entretien du linge.
