Abstract:
(EN) A system and method are provided for photonic isolation of storage nodes, with at least one storage node disposed on a substrate paired with a backside illuminated photonic sensor and configured to receive data collected by the sensor until read; at least one trench disposed in the substrate, the trench being aligned with the storage node; and a photonic block, disposed in the trench, proximate to the storage node and blocking photons to at least a portion of the storage node.
