Abstract:
Provided is a brake device capable of high-accuracy control for causing a brake force estimate value to follow a brake force command value by angle-sensorless control, and also capable of achieving cost reduction or the like. This dynamo-electric brake device comprises a control device (2) that performs control for causing the brake force estimate value estimated by a brake force estimation means (26) to follow a given brake force command value. The control device (2) has an angle-sensorless control function unit (20) that determines the phase of the phase current of an electric motor (4) without depending on the actual angle of the electric motor (4) and controls the electric motor (4) to the current value based on the determined phase of the phase current. The angle-sensorless control function unit (20) has a current phase determination unit (25b) that determines a current phase, which is the phase of the phase current of the electric motor (4), on the basis of the deviation between the brake force command value and the brake force estimate value.
