Title: METHOD FOR PRODUCING LITHIUM HYDROXIDE ANHYDRIDE AND ROTARY KILN TO BE USED THEREFOR
Abstract:
The present invention is capable of improving the production efficiency of lithium hydroxide anhydride in a method for producing lithium hydroxide anhydride from lithium hydroxide hydrate using a rotary kiln. Provided is a method for producing lithium hydroxide anhydride, characterized by comprising: a supplying step for supplying lithium hydroxide hydrate to an area between one end 12a of a furnace core tube 12 and a heating part 12c that is a part of the furnace core tube coated with a heating furnace 14; a lithium hydroxide-transporting step for transporting the thus supplied lithium hydroxide hydrate toward the other end 12b side of the furnace core tube 12; a drying gas-feeding step for, when the lithium hydroxide hydrate is supplied, feeding a drying gas at 100oC or higher to the area between one end 12a of the furnace core tube 12 and the heating part 12c; and a heating step for, during the lithium hydroxide-transporting step, heating and dehydrating the lithium hydroxide hydrate by the heating furnace 14 that is set to 230-450oC to thereby give lithium hydroxide anhydride.
