Title: MOTOR SYSTEM COMPRISING RELUCTANCE MOTOR
Abstract:
[Problem] To generate desired rotational direction torque regardless of rotor position and to improve starting characteristics of a reluctance motor. [Solution] This motor system comprises a reluctance motor and a circuit connected to this reluctance motor. This reluctance motor has: a rotor having an N number (N being an integer of at least 2) of rotor salient poles; a stator having an M number (M being an integer of at least 3) of stator salient poles; a three-phase winding that excites the stator salient poles; and a sensor that detects the rotational position of the rotor. The circuit provides 120-degree conduction to the three-phase winding 12 when the rotor is rotated in a first direction from a stopped state (initial position) and provides 180-degree conduction to the three-phase winding when the rotor is rotated in a second direction opposite to the first direction, from the stopped state.
