Title: METHOD FOR PRODUCING OPTICAL DISPLAY DEVICE
Abstract:
Provided is a production method whereby, when producing an optical display device wherein part of a sheet-shaped optical function film (F1) protrudes from at least a rear end section (PE) of a panel member (W), bubbles are not generated between the optical function film (F1) and the panel member (W) in the vicinity of the rear end section (PE) of the panel member (W). The sheet-shaped optical function film (F1) is peeled from a carrier film (F3), in conjunction with an adhesive layer (F2), and the panel member (W) and the sheet-shaped optical function film (F1) are bonded together, at a bonding position, from a bonding surface tip (PA) to a bonding surface rear end (PB) of the panel member, by using a pair of bonding rollers (23, 24). The panel member (W) and the sheet-shaped optical function film laminate (F1, F2) are bonded together from a prescribed position (PC) to the bonding surface rear end (PB) at a bonding speed of less than 100 mm/s, said prescribed position (PC) being at least 2 mm towards the bonding surface front end (PA) side from the bonding surface rear end (PB).
