Abstract:
(EN) This disclosure provides mechanisms for User Equipment, UE, capability signaling and coordination for Long Term Evolution (LTE) and New Radio (NR) tight-interworking without increasing the complexity of LTE capability reporting. This disclosure proposes a capability signaling and coordination framework in order to coordinate at least band combinations and Layer 2 buffer capabilities across the master and the secondary nodes which are of different Radio Access Technologies (RATs), such as LTE and NR.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des mécanismes destinés à une signalisation de capacité et une coordination d'un équipement utilisateur (UE) pour un interfonctionnement LTE (évolution à long terme) et nouvelle radio (NR), sans augmenter la complexité du rapport de capacité LTE. La présente invention propose un cadre de coordination de signalisation et de coordination de capacité afin de coordonner au moins des combinaisons de bandes et des capacités de tampon de couche 2 à travers les nœuds maître et secondaire qui sont de technologies d'accès radio (RAT) différentes, tels que LTE et NR.
