Abstract:
The object of the present invention gave rise to a new type of equipment for performing hemograms, in two different versions, with the first one discriminating three types of leukocytes, which is typically the case of Coulter- type pieces of equipment, and the second version, which is an amplification of the first one, featuring an optical system specifically designed for this equipment, which discriminates five types of leukocytes. The object of the present invention is fitted with all required devices to operate the equipment and deliver the data pertaining to each exam via its own interface or printed on a thermal printer, and designed for the reorganization of both operational components and the operational logic, and its new compact layout, that reduces the number of ducts, their diameters and lengths, thereby increasing the capacity of the equipment that discriminate three types of leukocytes to turn them into equipment that are capable of discriminating five types of leukocytes, by adding a laser optic set, and by the fact that the analyses are processed, differently from the State of the Art, in a manner that does not emulate human actions, and by being fitted with a software that controls the operations involving the entry of blood and reagents for each set of analyses, eliminates effluents after each analysis and subsequent cleanup of the circuits, said operations being carried out simultaneously by the same vacuum devices – peristaltic pump (BP) and syringes (SD, SL, and SL-5), which are raised so as to produce the required pressure for liquid circulation, and lowered to suck the fluids using a single step motor.
