Abstract:
(EN) A system and method for blood pressure signal acquisition using a pressure sensor array. A solution is provided for a non-inflatable, non-invasive, continuous blood pressure waveform and blood pressure acquisition system. The system is operative to combine signals from various sensing elements where the less accurate sensor elements are calibrated utilizing the more accurate sensor elements. Blood pressure measurements are acquired using very sensitive pressure sensors that detect slight pressure changes through the skin, which are sampled and processed to yield a blood pressure signal, which is processed to yield actual systolic and diastolic continuous and or intermittent blood pressure readings. By sampling and detecting the signal in each of the sensors, the sensor that is best placed on the target artery is found and the signals from that sensor is used to weight the signals from other sensors based on signal quality. The sensor array is placed approximately on the target artery making it highly likely that more than one element will acquire signal from the artery. Combining a plurality of such correlated signals with uncorrelated noise yields a signal to noise enhancement and more accurate blood pressure readings.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé d’acquisition de signal de pression artérielle au moyen d’un réseau de capteurs de pression. L’invention concerne une solution pour une forme d’onde de pression artérielle continue, non invasive, non gonflable et un système d’acquisition de pression artérielle. Le système est opérationnel pour combiner des signaux provenant de différents éléments de détection, les éléments de capteur moins précis étant étalonnés au moyen des éléments de capteur plus précis. Des mesures de pression artérielle sont acquises au moyen de capteurs de pression très sensibles qui détectent de légers changements de pression à travers la peau, qui sont échantillonnés et traités pour produire un signal de pression artérielle, qui est traité pour produire des lectures de pression artérielle réelles systoliques et diastoliques, continues et/ou intermittentes. Par échantillonnage et détection du signal dans chacun des capteurs, le capteur qui est le mieux placé sur l’artère cible est identifié et les signaux provenant de ce capteur sont utilisés pour pondérer les signaux provenant d’autres capteurs sur la base de la qualité du signal. Le réseau de capteurs est placé approximativement sur l’artère cible, de façon à rendre très probable que plus d’un élément acquière un signal provenant de l’artère. La combinaison d’une pluralité de tels signaux corrélés avec un bruit non corrélé produit une amélioration de signal sur bruit et des lectures de pression artérielle plus précises.
