Abstract:
The present invention relates to a woven-type composite rebar and a method for manufacturing same. The woven-type composite rebar includes one pair each of left-side supply tubes and right-side supply tubes disposed upright respectively in upper portions of the left and right sides of a round bar-shaped core that is laid across horizontally, wherein a first fiber roving passes through the pair of left-side supply tubes and forms a downwardly convex shape, and a second fiber roving passes through the pair of right-side supply tubes and forms downwardly convex shape. More particularly, the present invention relates to a woven-type composite rebar and a method for manufacturing same, wherein the rebar is characterized by being manufactured by a method for manufacturing a woven-type composite rebar comprising: a first step of lowering the left-side supply tubes and the right-side supply tubes such that end portions of the first fiber roving and the second fiber roving are positioned below the core; a second step of tying the end portions of the first fiber roving and second fiber roving, which are positioned below the core, to form a lower knot of the core; a third step of raising the left-side supply tubes and the right-side supply tubes; and a fourth step of rotating the left-side supply tubes and the right-side supply tubes by 180° to form an X-shaped knot above the core. The composite rebar of the present invention has excellent durability and improved bonding strength and tensile strength, and thus a degradation phenomenon in which the composite rebar is separated from a concrete structure can be reduced. Also, ribs are formed on the outer circumference of the core in a manner similar to weaving a fiber, and thus there are significant effects, such as an ease of manufacture.
