Abstract:
(EN) Provided are a method for inducing programmed cell death in cancer cells and a pharmaceutical composition therefor. The method for inducing programmed cell death in cancer cells includes causing an increase in the production of nitric oxide in the cancer cells. The pharmaceutical composition for inducing programmed cell death in cancer cells contains, as an active substance, a compound that increases nitric oxide production in cancer cells. The compound that increases nitric oxide production in cancer cells is used in a method for preventing, ameliorating, inhibiting the progression of, and/or treating cancer.
(FR) L'invention fournit un procédé induisant dans des cellules cancéreuses une mort cellulaire programmée, et une composition de médicament destinée à ce procédé. Le procédé induisant dans des cellules cancéreuses une mort cellulaire programmée, inclut une étape au cours de laquelle la production d'un monoxyde nitrique est accélérée à l'intérieur des cellules cancéreuses. La composition de médicament destinée à induire dans des cellules cancéreuses une mort cellulaire programmée, comprend en tant que principe actif un composé accélérant la production de monoxyde nitrique à l'intérieur de cellules cancéreuses. Enfin, l'invention concerne une application du composé accélérant la production de monoxyde nitrique à l'intérieur de cellules cancéreuses, dans un procédé de prévention, d'amélioration, d'inhibition de la progression et/ou de traitement du cancer.
