Title: DATA WRITING DEVICE FOR VARIABLE-RESISTANCE MEMORY ELEMENT AND NON-VOLATILE FLIP-FLOP
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to detect the end of writing of data to a variable-resistance memory element in which a conductive electrode is provided at one end of a memory element, the resistance of which varies, and a reading electrode is provided at the other end of the memory element, the resistance of the memory element being varied by supplying a current to the conductive electrode. Provided is a data writing device for a variable-resistance memory element in which a conductive electrode is provided at one end of a memory element, the resistance of which varies, and a reading electrode is provided at the other end of the memory element, the resistance of the memory element being varied by supplying a current to the conductive electrode, the data writing device comprising a writing means, an outputting means, and a controlling means. The outputting means is provided between a power source and the reading electrode, and a reading signal from the memory element and a monitor signal to monitor the state of writing to the memory element by the writing means are output as output signals from the outputting means. The end of writing of data to the variable-resistance memory element is detected by the monitor signal.
