Title: LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY POSITIVE ELECTRODE AND LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a lithium secondary battery positive electrode that has high rate characteristics and low self-discharge; and a lithium secondary battery that includes the lithium secondary battery positive electrode. The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery positive electrode that is formed by laminating an electrode mixture layer and a collector. The electrode mixture layer includes: a lithium secondary battery positive electrode active material that includes secondary particles that are aggregates of primary particles that can be lithium ion doped/dedoped; a conductive material; and a binding agent. The lithium secondary battery positive electrode satisfies conditions (1) and (2). (1) The 180 degree peel strength between the collector and the electrode mixture layer is at least 140 N/m. (2) The BET specific surface area of the electrode mixture layer is 4.0–8.5 m2/g.
