Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to achieve, while suppressing an increase in the number of signal lines between a primary device and a plurality of sensors, obtaining sensor outputs at a common point in time with a detection data collection device, transmitting a plurality of sensor outputs with a single communication, and having one instance of error detection coding for the plurality of sensor outputs. In chip select falling, detection data for all sensors 111, 112, 121, 122, 131, 132 is simultaneously collected by communication units 113, 123, 133, and sensor outputs at a common point in time are obtained. An ECU 102 and a plurality of daisy-chained sensors 103–105 carry out data transceiving and transmit a plurality of sensor outputs via a single communication. The last-stage sensor 105, from among the sensors 103–105, creates error codes for the data from the prior stage sensors 103, 104 and creates error code for the data from said sensor 105, treating same as one error code. Obtaining sensor outputs of a plurality of sensors at a common point in time by chip select falling obviates the necessity for disposing signal lines to the respective sensors 103, 104, 105 from the ECU 102.
