Abstract:
(EN) This technology relates to an information processing device and an information processing method for enabling load distribution of streamed traffic using a broadcasting network. This information processing device processes incoming content requests transmitted from a plurality of receiving devices, and is configured to be capable of load-distributing streamed traffic by dynamically switching between replying by communication and replying by broadcasting, as a reply pathway of a response to a request, on the basis of first identification information for identifying a broadcast area that can be received by a receiving device and second identification information for identifying content, said first and second identification information being included in the request. This technology is applicable to dedicated servers (switching servers) disposed on a back end side of a server, for example.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif de traitement d'informations et un procédé de traitement d'informations, aptes à permettre une distribution de charge de trafic en continu à l'aide d'un réseau de diffusion. Le dispositif de traitement d'informations selon l'invention traite des demandes de contenu entrantes transmises depuis une pluralité de dispositifs de réception. Il est configuré pour pouvoir distribuer un trafic diffusé en continu via l'exécution d'une commutation dynamique entre une réponse par communication et une réponse par diffusion, sous la forme d'une voie de réponse d'une réponse à une demande, sur la base de premières informations d'identification servant à identifier une zone de diffusion qui peut être reçue par un dispositif de réception et de secondes informations d'identification servant à identifier un contenu, lesdites première et seconde informations d'identification étant incluses dans la demande. La présente invention peut être appliquée à des serveurs dédiés (serveurs de commutation) placés sur un côté d'extrémité arrière d'un serveur, par exemple.
(JA) 本技術は、放送ネットワークを利用して、ストリーミングトラフィックを負荷分散させることができるようにする情報処理装置、及び、情報処理方法に関する。 情報処理装置が、複数の受信装置から送信されてくる、コンテンツのリクエストを処理して、リクエストに含まれる受信装置で受信可能な放送エリアを識別するための第1の識別情報、及び、コンテンツを識別するための第2の識別情報に基づいて、リクエストに対するレスポンスの返信経路として、通信経由での返信と、放送経由での返信とを動的に切り替えることで、ストリーミングトラフィックを負荷分散させることができるようになる。本技術は、例えば、サーババックエンド側に設置される専用のサーバ(スイッチングサーバ)に適用することができる。
