Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure relates to the design of a fast binaural rendering for multiple moving audio sources. This disclosure takes the audio source signals which can be object-based, channel-based or a mixture of both, associated metadata, user head tracking data and binaural room impulse response (BRIR) database to generate the headphone playback signals. The present disclosure applies a frame-by-frame binaural rendering module which takes parameterized components of BRIRs for rendering moving sources. In addition, the present disclosure applies hierarchical source clustering and downmixing in the rendering process to reduce computational complexity.
(FR) La présente invention concerne la conception d'un rendu binaural rapide pour une pluralité de sources audio mobiles. L'invention utilise les signaux de source audio qui peuvent être basés sur des objets, sur des canaux ou un mélange des deux, des métadonnées associées, des données de suivi de tête d'utilisateur, et une base de données de réponse impulsionnelle de salle binaurale (BRIR), afin de générer les signaux de lecture de casque d'écoute. La présente invention applique un module de rendu binaural trame par trame, qui prend en compte des composants paramétrés de BRIR pour rendre des sources mobiles. De plus, la présente invention applique un groupement de sources hiérarchique et un sous-mixage dans le processus de rendu afin de réduire la complexité de calcul.
