Abstract:
The present invention provides a device in which a power supply path of an external battery and a reflux current path of an inductive load use the same terminal, wherein a microcomputer continues to operate even after this terminal suffers an open-failure. A vehicle-mounted control device 113 is provided with: a battery terminal 101 connected to an external battery 100; a voltage regulator 106 having an input side connected to the battery terminal 101; an input capacitor 102 provided between the input side of the voltage regulator 106 and a ground; a driving element 110 that controls energization of an inductance load 112; a limiting element 109 provided between the input side of the voltage regulator 106 and the driving element 110; a microcomputer 107 that controls the driving element 110 to be turned on and off; and a failure detecting unit 105 that determines an open-failure of the battery terminal 101. When an open-failure of the battery terminal 101 is determined, the failure detecting unit 105 drives the driving element 110 and maintains an input voltage Vi.
