Title: FLUORESCENT TESTING SYSTEM, DIELECTROPHORESIS DEVICE, AND MOLECULAR TESTING METHOD
Abstract:
Provided are a fluorescent testing system, a dielectrophoresis device, and a molecular testing method that measure only a fluorescent light emitted from a test object without using an optical filter to separate an excitation light and the fluorescent light, and can prevent a reduction in the range of application for fluorescent light type. A fluorescent testing system (1) comprises: an excitation light source (23) that shines an excitation light (L1) on a test object (M) flowing through a microfluidic path (22); a silicon integrated circuit (10) that comprises a photon detection unit (13), said photon detection unit (13) detecting light using a photodiode (12); an electrode pair (16) for dielectrophoresis that produces an electric field (EF) in order to draw the test object (M) to above the photodiode (12) through dielectrophoresis; and a control unit (24) that causes the excitation light source (23) to shine the excitation light (L1) on the drawn test object (M), and causes the photon detection unit (13) to detect, after quenching of the excitation light (L1), a fluorescent light (L2) emitted from the test subject (M).
