Abstract:
(EN) Provided are: a liquid crystal composition for light control use, which satisfies at least one characteristic property such as a high upper limit temperature, a low lower limit temperature, a small viscosity, a high optical anisotropy and a positive and high dielectric anisotropy, or has a proper balance between at least two of these characteristic properties; and a liquid crystal light-controlling element containing the composition. A liquid crystal composition for light control use, which contains a specific compound having a positive and high dielectric anisotropy as a first component, and may optionally contain a specific compound having a high upper limit temperature or a low lower limit temperature as a second component and a specific compound having a high dielectric anisotropy in the minor axis as a third component.
(FR) L'invention concerne : une composition de cristaux liquides utilisée à des fins de commande de lumière, qui satisfait au moins une propriété caractéristique telle qu'une température de limite haute élevée, une basse température de limite basse, une faible viscosité, une anisotropie optique élevée et une anisotropie diélectrique positive et élevée, ou satisfait un équilibre approprié entre au moins deux desdites propriétés caractéristiques ; et un élément de commande de lumière à cristaux liquides contenant ladite composition. Une composition de cristaux liquides utilisée à des fins de commande de lumière, qui contient un composé spécifique ayant une anisotropie diélectrique positive et élevée à titre de premier composant, et peut éventuellement contenir un composé spécifique ayant une température de limite haute élevée ou une basse température de limite basse à titre de deuxième composant et un composé spécifique ayant une anisotropie diélectrique élevée dans l'axe mineur à titre de troisième composant est en outre décrite.
