Title: ALUMINUM ALLOY WIRE, ALUMINUM ALLOY TWISTED WIRE, COATED ELECTRICAL WIRE, AND ELECTRICAL WIRE WITH TERMINAL
Abstract:
An aluminum alloy wire comprising an aluminum alloy. The aluminum alloy contains 0.03%–1.5% by mass Mg and 0.02%–2.0% by mass Si. The Mg/Si mass ratio is 0.5–3.5 with the remainder being Al and unavoidable impurities. In a cross-section of the aluminum alloy wire, a rectangular surface layer bubble measurement region is taken from a surface region that penetrates to a depth of 30 µm from the surface, said surface layer bubble measurement region having a short-side length of 30 µm and a long-side length of 50 µm. The total cross-sectional area of bubbles present in the surface layer bubble measurement region is no more than 2 µm2. The aluminum alloy wire has a wire diameter of 0.1–3.6 mm, a tensile strength of at least 150 MPa, a 0.2% proof stress of at least 90 MPa, breaking elongation of at least 5%, and conductivity of at least 40% IACS.
