Abstract:
(EN) Exemplary embodiments are directed to a gas liquid separator (102) that includes a chamber (104), a fluid mixture (106) inlet (114), a solvent (110) outlet (118) and a gas (108) outlet (116). The gas liquid separator (102) includes a phase-change inducing mechanism (120) disposed in or proximate to the fluid mixture inlet (114). In some embodiments the mechanism (120) can be a pressure regulator associated with a sensor (122). Exemplary methods of improving separation of a fluid mixture in a gas liquid separator and C02-based chromatography flow systems including a gas liquid separator are also provided.
