Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods are disclosed to control fuel transport to oil in an internal combustion engine during a regeneration event for a particulate filter that receives exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine. In response to the regeneration event, fuel is injected into at least one cylinder of the internal combustion engine at a first fuel pressure in an amount and timing to increase the exhaust gas temperature above a first threshold. In response to the exhaust gas temperature being above the first threshold, the method includes injecting fuel into the at least one cylinder post-combustion at a second fuel pressure that is greater than the first fuel pressure.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés pour réguler le transport de carburant vers l'huile dans un moteur à combustion interne pendant un événement de régénération pour un filtre à particules qui reçoit un gaz d'échappement provenant du moteur à combustion interne. En réponse à l'événement de régénération, du carburant est injecté dans au moins un cylindre du moteur à combustion interne à une première pression de carburant selon une quantité et une temporisation pour augmenter la température des gaz d'échappement au-dessus d'un premier seuil.
