Abstract:
In one embodiment, the method is configured for producing optoelectronic semiconductor components (1) and comprises the following steps: providing a primary light source (2) having a substrate (21) and a semi-conductor layer sequence (22) applied thereon for generating primary light (B), wherein the semiconductor layer sequence (22) is structured in a plurality of pixels (24) that can be controlled electrically independently from one another and the substrate (21) has a plurality of control units (23) for controlling the pixels (24); providing a conversion unit (3, 4) which is configured to convert the primary light (B) into secondary light (G, R), wherein the conversion unit (3, 4) is grown as a continuum from a semiconductor material (31, 41); structuring the conversion unit (3, 4), wherein sub-areas of the semiconductor material (31, 41) are removed according to the pixels (24); and applying the conversion unit (3, 4) to the semiconductor layer sequence (22) such that the remaining semiconductor material (31, 41) is clearly assigned to a portion of the pixels (24).
