The invention describes a method for preparing a composite porous material comprising at least one zeolite and at least one alumina precursor, said method comprising at least the following steps: a) a step of obtaining zeolite crystals in suspension in the synthesis reaction medium, comprising a step of reacting, in an aqueous mixture, at least one source of at least one oxide XO2, at least one source of at least one oxide Y2O3, at least one basic source of at least one alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal M of valence n, and/or at least one organic species R comprising one or more quaternary nitrogen atoms or a phosphorous atom, wherein X represents at least one tetravalent element chosen from silicon, germanium, titanium and the mixture of at least two of these tetravalent elements, Y represents at least one trivalent element, chosen from aluminium, boron, iron, indium and gallium, M is at least one alkali metal and/or one alkaline earth metal of valence n, chosen from lithium, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and the mixture of at least two of these metals, R is chosen from tetrapropylammonium bromide, tetrapropylammonium hydroxide, 18-crown 6 ether, hexamethonium dibromide, tetraethylammonium hydroxide, ethylenediamine, 2,6-dimethylpiperidine; b) at least one step of precipitating at least one alumina precursor in the suspension obtained at the end of step a), by bringing it into contact with at least one acidic aluminium precursor.
