Abstract:
A method for preparing nickel sulfate, manganese sulfate, lithium sulfate, cobalt sulfate, and tricobalt tetroxide from battery waste, relating to comprehensive utilization of battery waste, and in particular, to a method for producing battery grade nickel sulfate, battery grade manganese sulfate, battery grade lithium sulfate, battery grade cobalt sulfate, and battery grade tricobalt tetroxide by comprehensively utilizing battery waste. The method is particularly characterized by adopting the following process flow: dissolving battery waste using an acid; removing iron and aluminum; removing calcium, magnesium, and copper; performing extraction separation; performing evaporative crystallization to prepare nickel sulfate, manganese sulfate, lithium sulfate, cobalt sulfate or/and tricobalt tetroxide. The invention can simultaneously recover multiple metal elements, such as nickel, manganese, lithium, and cobalt, from battery waste, with the advantage of high purity of recovered products, all of which can reach the battery grade, and can also directly produce battery grade tricobalt tetroxide; the invention has a simple process, low energy consumption, no exhaust gas, and no waste water.
