Abstract:
The invention relates to a recombinant vaccine against the porcine circovirus type 2, based on a chimeric variant of the protein CAP, which is strengthened with an immunomodulator, preferably porcine interferon alpha. The invention also relates to a synthetic polynucleotide sequence that encodes said protein variant, a recombinant protein of this type, a vector for the expression of genes of interest in the yeast Pichia pastoris which permits the production of the components of the vaccine, an expression cassette, a transformed yeast cell, and a method for the production of a vaccine against porcine circovirus type 2 in yeasts.
