Abstract
(EN) A system is disclosed including, a light source; a converter configured to convert AC voltage to DC operating voltage; a power backup device coupled to the converter; a current source coupled to the power backup device, the current source being powered by the converter, the current source being configured to receive the DC operating voltage generated by the converter through the power backup device, and the current source being configured to output a pulse-width modulated (PWM) signal to the light source based on the DC operating voltage; and a switching device coupled to the power backup device in parallel with the current source, the switching device being configured to couple the light source to the power backup device when the current source is disabled as a result of a supply of AC voltage to the converter being interrupted.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système comprenant une source de lumière ; un convertisseur configuré pour convertir une tension CA en une tension de fonctionnement CC ; un dispositif d'alimentation de secours couplé au convertisseur ; une source de courant couplée au dispositif d'alimentation de secours, la source de courant étant alimentée par le convertisseur, la source de courant étant configurée pour recevoir la tension de fonctionnement CC générée par le convertisseur à travers le dispositif d'alimentation de secours, et la source de courant étant configurée pour fournir un signal de modulation d'impulsions en durée (PWM) à la source de lumière sur la base de la tension de fonctionnement CC ; et un dispositif de commutation couplé au dispositif d'alimentation de secours en parallèle avec la source de courant, le dispositif de commutation étant configuré pour coupler la source de lumière au dispositif d'alimentation de secours lorsque la source de courant est désactivée suite à l'interruption de l'alimentation en tension CA du convertisseur.
