Title: RESILIENT WHEEL (GROUP)
Abstract:
The inventions relate to a railway undercarriage structure. A resilient wheel, comprising a hub and a fixed flange, a tyre disc and a pressure flange, is provided with a series of removable flanges and tyre discs with irregularities in the form of peaks and troughs therebetween, each peak being situated in a trough of an adjacent component. The peaks and troughs are arranged concentrically and radially. The wheel with irregularities is comprised of three, five, seven or a series of components, with resilient elements arranged between the flanges and the discs. According to another embodiment, between the flange of the hub, the tyre disc and the pressure flange there is arranged a series of plate flanges and discs with similar irregularities and projecting indentations which bend away from the irregularities and provide resilience to the wheel. All of the components are fastened by conical self-locking screws. A plate-like fastening disc with projecting indentations is screwed onto the hub of the pressure flange from the exterior, providing additional anchoring of the screws. The technical result of the group of inventions is an increase in the reliability and service life of railway rolling stock and track, and a reduction in vibration and noise.
