(EN) Disclosed is an image data encoding/decoding method and apparatus. A method for decoding a 360-degree image comprises the steps of: receiving a bitstream obtained by encoding a 360-degree image; generating a prediction image by making reference to syntax information obtained from the received bitstream; combining the generated prediction image with a residual image obtained by dequantizing and inverse-transforming the bitstream, so as to obtain a decoded image; and reconstructing the decoded image into a 360-degree image according to a projection format. Here, the step of generating the prediction image comprises a step of generating a prediction block for a current block to be decoded, from a reference region belonging to at least one reference picture, by making reference to motion information obtained from the syntax information.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de codage/décodage d'images. Un procédé de décodage d'une image à 360 degrés comprend les étapes consistant à : recevoir un flux binaire obtenu par codage d'une image à 360 degrés ; générer une image de prédiction en faisant référence à des informations de syntaxe obtenues à partir du flux binaire ; combiner l'image de prédiction générée avec une image résiduelle obtenue par déquantification et transformée inverse du flux binaire, de sorte à obtenir une image décodée ; et reconstruire l'image décodée en une image à 360 degrés selon un format de projection. L'étape de génération de l'image de prédiction selon la présente invention comprend une étape de génération d'un bloc de prédiction pour un bloc courant à décoder, à partir d'une région de référence appartenant à au moins une image de référence, en faisant référence aux informations de mouvement obtenues à partir des informations de syntaxe.
(KO) 영상 데이터 부호화/복호화 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 360도 영상의 복호화 방법은, 360도 영상이 부호화된 비트스트림을 수신하는 단계, 수신된 비트스트림에서 획득한 구문 정보를 참조하여, 예측 영상을 생성하는 단계, 상기 생성된 예측 영상을 상기 비트스트림을 역양자화 및 역변환하여 획득한 잔차 영상과 결합하여 복호화된 영상을 획득하는 단계 및 상기 복호화된 영상을 투영 포맷에 따른 360도 영상으로 재구성하는 단계를 포함한다. 여기서 상기 예측 영상을 생성하는 단계는, 상기 구문정보에서 획득한 움직임 정보를 참조하여, 적어도 하나의 참조 픽쳐 내에 속한 참조 영역으로부터 복호화할 현재 블록의 예측 블록을 생성하는 단계를 포함한다.
