Abstract:
(EN) Aspects of a multi-orientation playback device including at least one microphone array are discussed. A method may include determining an orientation of the playback device which includes at least one microphone array and determining at least one microphone training response for the playback device from a plurality of microphone training responses based on the orientation of the playback device. The at least one microphone array can detect a sound input, and the location information of a source of the sound input can be determined based on the at least one microphone training response and the detected sound input. Based on the location information of the source, the directional focus of the at least one microphone array can be adjusted, and the sound input can be captured based on the adjusted directional focus.
(FR) Les aspects de la présente invention concernent un dispositif de lecture à orientations multiples comprenant au moins un ensemble de microphones. Un procédé peut consister : à déterminer une orientation du dispositif de lecture qui comprend au moins un ensemble de microphones et à déterminer au moins une réponse d'apprentissage de microphone pour le dispositif de lecture à partir d'une pluralité de réponses d'apprentissage de microphone sur la base de l'orientation du dispositif de lecture. Ledit ensemble de microphones peut détecter une entrée sonore, et les informations d'emplacement d'une source de l'entrée sonore peuvent être déterminées sur la base de ladite réponse d'apprentissage de microphone et de l'entrée sonore détectée. Sur la base des informations d'emplacement de la source, la focalisation directionnelle dudit ensemble de microphones peut être réglée, et l'entrée sonore peut être capturée sur la base de la focalisation directionnelle réglée.
