Abstract:
(EN) Catalyst compositions and polymerization systems include at least one thioguanidine complex according to Formula (I): MQaX4_a (I) in which M is Ti, Zr, or Hf; a is 1 or 2; each group Q of the thioguanidine complex is a bidentate thioguanidine ligand bound to the metal center and having Formula (la) or Formula (lb), In Formulas (la) and (lb), each group R1, R2, and R3 is independently chosen from alkyl groups or aryl groups; each group Z1 is independently chosen from alkylene groups. If a = 2, groups R3 of the two groups Q are optionally linked to each other through at least one covalent bond. Each X is covalently bonded or coordinated to the metal center and is independently chosen from alkyl groups or halides. The polymerization systems may be configured to copolymerize ethylene and α-olefins.
(FR) L'invention concerne des compositions de catalyseur et des systèmes de polymérisation comprenant au moins un complexe de thioguanidine selon la formule (I) : MQaX4_a (I) dans laquelle M représente Ti, Zr ou Hf; a vaut 1 ou 2; chaque groupe Q du complexe thioguanidine est un ligand thioguanidine bidenté lié au centre métallique et ayant la formule (la) ou la formule (lb). Dans les formules (la) et (lb), chaque groupe R1, R2 et R3 est indépendamment choisi parmi des groupes alkyle ou des groupes aryle; chaque groupe Z1 est indépendamment choisi parmi des groupes alkylène. Si a = 2, les groupes R3 des deux groupes Q sont éventuellement liés entre eux par au moins une liaison covalente. Chaque X est lié ou coordonné de manière covalente au centre métallique et est indépendamment choisi parmi des groupes alkyle ou des halogénures. Les systèmes de polymérisation peuvent être configurés pour copolymériser de l'éthylène et des a-oléfines.
