Abstract:
(EN) Techniques are described that provide for virtual symbol splitting for uplink and/or downlink wireless transmissions. A wireless transmitter, such as a UE or a base station, may identify a pilot signal and a payload to be transmitted in a full symbol. The transmitter may format the pilot signal and the payload into separate sub-symbols that are nested within the first full symbol, with each sub-symbol including an associated sub-symbol cyclic prefix, and the full symbol including a full symbol cyclic prefix.
(FR) L'invention concerne des techniques qui permettent une division d'un symbole virtuel dans le cadre de transmissions sans fil en liaison montante et/ou en liaison descendante. Un dispositif de transmission sans fil, tel qu'un UE ou une station de base, peut identifier un signal de pilote et une charge utile devant être transmis dans un symbole complet. Le dispositif de transmission peut formater le signal de pilote et la charge utile en sous-symboles séparés qui sont imbriqués dans le premier symbole complet.
