Abstract:
(EN) This polarization tracking device that uses Stokes vectors to track variations in the polarization of light transmitted through an optical fiber is provided with: a rotation angle updating means that expresses the variation in the Stokes vectors on a Poincare sphere in an x-y plane perpendicular to the propagation direction of a light wave using a first angle, which is an angle formed by the direction of an optical electric field of the light wave and a y-axis, and a second angle, which is the phase difference between a component in the direction of the y-axis of the optical electric field and a component in the direction of an x-axis orthogonal to the y-axis; and an inverse rotation imparting means that rotates the Stokes vector using an inverse polarization rotation matrix indicated by the first angle and the second angle.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de suivi de polarisation qui utilise des vecteurs de Stokes pour suivre des variations de polarisation d'une lumière transmise à travers une fibre optique, le dispositif comprenant : un moyen de mise à jour d'angle de rotation qui exprime la variation dans les vecteurs de Stokes sur une sphère de Poincaré dans un plan x-y perpendiculaire à la direction de propagation d'une onde lumineuse à l'aide d'un premier angle, qui est un angle que forme la direction d'un champ électrique optique de l'onde lumineuse avec un axe y, et d'un second angle, qui est la différence de phase entre un composant dans la direction de l'axe y du champ électrique optique et un composant dans la direction d'un axe x orthogonal à l'axe y ; et un moyen de transmission de rotation inverse qui fait tourner le vecteur de Stokes à l'aide d'une matrice de rotation de polarisation inverse indiquée par le premier angle et le second angle.
(JA) 光ファイバを伝送した光の偏波変動を、ストークスベクトルを用いてトラッキングする偏波トラッキング装置は、前記ストークスベクトルのポアンカレ球上における変動量を、光波の進行方向に垂直なxy平面において、前記光波の光電界の方向と、y軸との角度である第1の角度と、前記光電界の前記y軸方向の成分と、前記y軸と直交するx軸方向の成分の位相差である第2の角度と、を用いて表す回転角更新手段と、前記第1の角度および前記第2の角度で示される逆偏波回転行列を用いて、前記ストークスベクトルを回転させる逆回転付与手段と、を備えている。
