Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device that inhibits image blurring and has high definition while inhibiting reduction in luminance in at least a part of a display region. The liquid crystal display device according to the present invention is provided with a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, and a display region which includes a plurality of display units arranged in a matrix form. The first substrate has a first electrode, a second electrode, and an insulation film. In a state where no voltage is applied, liquid crystal molecules are oriented in parallel with the first substrate, and, in each of the plurality of display units, an opening including a specific shape is formed in the second electrode. The plurality of display units include a high-speed type display unit in which four liquid crystal domains are generated in a translucent region in a state where voltage is applied, and a high-luminance type display unit in which two liquid crystal domains are generated in the translucent region in a state where voltage is applied. During one frame period, a data signal is written into the high-speed type display unit later than that of the high-luminance type display unit.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides qui empêche le flou d'image et qui présente une haute définition tout en empêchant une réduction de luminance dans au moins une partie d'une région d'affichage. Le dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides selon l'invention est pourvu d'un premier substrat, d'un second substrat, d'une couche de cristaux liquides, et d'une région d'affichage qui inclut une pluralité d'unités d'affichage disposées sous la forme d'une matrice. Le premier substrat comporte une première électrode, une seconde électrode, et un film isolant. Dans un état où aucune tension n'est appliquée, des molécules de cristaux liquides sont orientées parallèlement à ce premier substrat, et, dans chaque unité de la pluralité d'unités d'affichage, une ouverture ayant une forme précise est pratiquée dans la seconde électrode. La pluralité d'unités d'affichage comprend une unité d'affichage de type à grande vitesse dans laquelle quatre domaines de cristaux liquides sont générés dans une région translucide dans un état où une tension est appliquée, et une unité d'affichage de type à luminance élevée dans laquelle deux domaines de cristaux liquides sont générés dans la région translucide dans un état où une tension est appliquée. Pendant une période de trame, un signal de données est écrit dans l'unité d'affichage de type à grande vitesse plus tard que celui de l'unité d'affichage de type à luminance élevée.
