Abstract:
An electrophotographic photoreceptor (100) is provided with an electroconductive substrate (101) and a single photosensitive layer (102). The photosensitive layer contains a charge generating agent, a hole transport agent, and two or more types of electron transport agent. The total mass of the two or more types of electron transport agent is greater than the mass of the hole transport agent. The charge potential of the electrophotographic photoreceptor when charged with a corotron charger with the current value set to -5 μA is at least -550 and less than 0 V. When, while the electrophotographic photoreceptor is being rotated three times, with positive charging, exposure, and transfer performed at each rotation, the charge potential at each rotation being the same positive value, the amount of exposure being the same, and the transfer current value being the same, then there is a difference VpLA-VpLC of at least 0 V between a surface potential VpLA of an exposure region of the electrophotographic photoreceptor after exposure and before transfer in the first rotation and a surface potential VpLC of the exposure region of the electrophotographic photoreceptor after exposure and before transfer in the third rotation.
