Abstract:
Provided is a copper pipe that has excellent anti-corrosion properties, that is capable of exhibiting even greater corrosion resistance against ant nest corrosion, and that can suitably be employed as a heat transmitting pipe, a refrigerant pipe, or the like, in air conditioning equipment or refrigeration equipment. The copper pipe is manufactured by using a Cu material in which P is contained at 0.15-0.6% by weight and Cu and impurities constitute the balance, and when the P content is denoted as X (% by weight), the copper pipe is configured so as to have a conductivity (Y1 or Y2: %IACS) that satisfies 50-75X ≤ Y1 ≤ 60-75X when having a recrystallized structure or 47-75X ≤ Y2 ≤ 57-75X when having a processed structure.
