Provided is a tire vulcanization mold that: has side-molding surfaces that have precisely arranged gaps that discharge air that is between side molds and a green tire; and can suppress molding defects. A tire vulcanization mold 10 that comprises a pair of upper and lower side molds 14, 15 that have side-molding surfaces 14a, 15a that mold side wall parts of a tire. The side molds 14, 15 comprise a side mold main body 21, a plurality of pieces 23, and gaps 29 that are formed between the side mold main body 21 and the pieces 23. The side mold main body 21 comprises, at intervals in a tire circumferential direction, a plurality of recesses 25 that open toward the side-molding surface 15a and a tire-radial-direction outside surface. The pieces 23 fit into the recesses 25 and, with the side mold main body 21, form the side-molding surface 15a. The gaps 29 open toward the side-molding surface 15a and extend from the tire-radial-direction inside to the outside.
