Abstract:
The invention relates to a breathable multilayer composite film and to a method for the production thereof, the multilayer composite film comprising the following layers: a) an outer layer provided with a structure or graining, which has raised parts or tips and indentations or dips; b) at least one air-permeable and water vapour-permeable foamed layer with an open-cell foamed structure, arranged below the outer layer; and c) an air-permeable and water vapour-permeable carrier layer, preferably a textile layer, a leather or an imitation leather layer, arranged beneath the foamed layer; and optionally other air-permeable and water vapour-permeable layers arranged inside the laminar composite, the outer layer provided with raised parts or tips and indentations or dips having a maximum layer thickness of 10 μ in the region of the dips or tips thereof.
