Title: METHOD FOR COMPOSITING SI-V LUMINESCENT DIAMOND PARTICLE WITH QUARTZ OPTICAL FIBER
Abstract:
A method for compositing a Si-V luminescent diamond particle with a quartz optical fiber, comprising the following steps: (1) mixing polyvinyl alcohol and dimethyl sulfoxide, heating up to 70-90ºC, ultrasonically mixing, adding a diamond powder, and then mixing well to obtain a mixed liquid; coating the mixed liquid onto a quartz optical fiber, washing the coated quartz optical fiber with deionized water and drying for later use; placing the processed quartz optical fiber from step (1) into a hot wire chemical vapor deposition device, using acetone as a carbon source, which is introduced into a reaction chamber by using a hydrogen A bubbling approach, wherein a flow ratio of hydrogen B to acetone is 200 : 40-90, a distance between a hot wire and the quartz optical fiber is 7-10 mm, a reaction power is 1600-2300 W, an operating pressure is 1.5-3.5 Kpa, and a growth time of the diamond particle is 10 to 30 min; after growth is completed,cooling to room temperature without introducing the hydrogen B. Thus, dispersed Si-V luminescent diamond particles are prepared on the quartz optical fiber, thereby achieving the composite of the diamond particle and the quartz optical fiber.
